Match Safely This Summer: Match Group's Brands Launch "Healthy Dating Guides" in collaboration with NO MORE
執筆者: Match Group

Users across Tinder, Hinge, Meetic, Ourtime and Zweisam

will begin seeing messages on ways they can date safely this summer and all year long

Summer is around the corner, and it’s the perfect time for singles to catch up on the best practices for safe dating, from the very first message to in-person encounters. Match Group, the parent company of Tinder, Hinge, Meetic, Ourtime and Zweisam, announced it’s rolling out “Healthy Dating Guides” in partnership with NO MORE, a leading global organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault, to remind daters of ways to meet new people safely.

Users across Tinder, Hinge, Meetic, Ourtime and Zweisam in Spain and Germany will begin seeing messages in app pointing them to the Healthy Dating Guides, which provide actionable tips and steps for every stage of the dating journey. From how best to put their true self forward to encouraging users to utilise the safety features available in app, and from spotting ‘red flags’ to respecting boundaries - for both online and when meeting in real life.

The Healthy Dating Guides, which will be available for everyone, can be found on NO MORE’s website in German and Spanish. They will also be promoted by Tinder, Hinge, Meetic, Ourtime and Zweisam to their users in Spain and Germany throughout the rest of the year. A Branded Profile Card on Tinder, an in-app notification on Hinge, and a pop up message on Meetic and Ourtime will direct members to the Healthy Dating Guides.

In addition and at any time, daters can access resources on the Safety Centers of Tinder, Hinge, Meetic, Ourtime and Zweisam, as well as through NO MORE’s Global Directory of support services which covers more than 200 countries around the world including Spain and Germany.

“At Match Group, we have a unique opportunity to reach millions of daters around the world. We are proud to join forces with NO MORE to raise awareness around the practical tips and steps for safer dating, both online and in real life.” said Rory Kozoll, SVP of Product Integrity at Tinder. “These partnerships with safety experts and advocates are critical to continue to improve safety standards and features on our platforms, within the communities we serve, and across our industry.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with Match Group and be able to reach such a wide audience of daters on their platforms with our ‘Healthy Dating Guide(s).' Connecting with and dating new people should be fun and safe. That’s why it’s important that all daters have the tips, tools and resources they need to build healthy, respectful relationships and to find support if they ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe,” said NO MORE's CEO Pamela Zaballa.

The safety of online daters has always been a key priority of Match Group across its portfolio of brands. Match Group, through a central safety team and dedicated teams within each of the brands, is focused on leveraging technology and building practices to help prevent and disrupt potential harm. Working with NGOs, safety experts and law enforcement around the world also enables us to understand the latest trends and continue investing in technology and enhancing our policies. To this extent, we established the Match Group Advisory Council (MGAC) in 2018, engaging leading safety advocates and experts such as NO MORE to advise our brands on issues including on measures to reduce the likelihood of sexual assault, sex trafficking and harassment.
