With\u00a0more than 400 million singles outside of <span class=\"xn-location\">North America<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Europe<\/span>, two-thirds of which have not yet tried a dating product,\u00a0Match Group has appointed three General Managers in <span class=\"xn-location\">Asia<\/span> that are responsible for growing Match&#8217;s portfolio of products in their local\u00a0markets as well as looking for new business opportunities<i>:<\/i>\n<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<b><br \/>\n<span class=\"xn-person\">Junya Ishibashi<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b>,\u00a0who has been the CEO of Match Group&#8217;s Eureka business in <span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span>, will become the General Manager of Match Group for <span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Taiwan<\/span> and is based in <span class=\"xn-location\">Tokyo<\/span>. <\/li>\n<li>\n<b>Taru Kapoor\u00a0<\/b>remains General Manager of Match Group India based in <span class=\"xn-location\">Delhi<\/span>. <\/li>\n<li>\n<b><br \/>\n<span class=\"xn-person\">Lyla Seo<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b>,\u00a0who previously served as Regional Director of <span class=\"xn-location\">East Asia<\/span> for Tinder, has been named General Manager of Match Group for <span class=\"xn-location\">South Korea<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Southeast Asia<\/span> and is based in <span class=\"xn-location\">Seoul<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<b><br \/>\n<span class=\"xn-person\">Alexandre Lubot<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b>,\u00a0who has served as both CEO of Meetic and CEO of Match Group EMEA &amp; APAC since 2016 will remain CEO of Match Group EMEA &amp; APAC overseeing brands across <span class=\"xn-location\">Europe<\/span>, the <span class=\"xn-location\">Middle East<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Asia<\/span>, with these three new General Managers reporting directly to him. Meetic,\u00a0Match Group&#8217;s Pan-European dating brand, will now be overseen by\u00a0<b><br \/>\n<span class=\"xn-person\">Matthieu Jacquier<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b>,\u00a0who joined the company a year ago as CPO. Working alongside Alexandre will be\u00a0<b>Elisabeth Peyraube<\/b>,\u00a0who will assume the new role of COO &amp; CFO of Match Group EMEA &amp; APAC.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Taru was originally hired to grow Tinder in <span class=\"xn-location\">India<\/span>, but a little more\u00a0than a year ago we increased her responsibilities to oversee the growth of other Match Group products in the country. During that time Tinder has become a big brand in <span class=\"xn-location\">India<\/span>, but Taru also has meaningfully grown OkCupid&#8217;s user base in <span class=\"xn-location\">India<\/span> over the last six months\u00a0due to her keen understanding of the market and culture. Ishibashi has more than doubled Pairs&#8217; revenue in <span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span> since the acquisition in 2015. Both executives will now oversee other Match Group brands in their respective markets.<\/p>\n<p>Today, nearly 50 percent of Match Group&#8217;s revenue comes from areas\u00a0outside of the U.S. and <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span>.
