AI Tools Policy for Candidate Interviews

At the Match Group portfolio, we value authenticity, integrity, and transparency from candidates in all aspects of our hiring process. This guide provides clarity on our expectations regarding AI tool usage during interviews and assessments, aligning with our commitment to fair, unbiased hiring practices.
No AI Tool Usage during Interviews
Candidates are strictly prohibited from using any AI tools during any type of interview with Match Group. This includes, but is not limited to, tools that:
- Transcribe, record, summarize or analyze conversations in real time
- Generate, complete, or enhance responses in any form
- Provide external or automated assistance of any kind
Prohibited AI usage in Technical and Coding Assessments
Candidates must complete all tasks independently without AI assistance. This includes restrictions on:
- AI code generators, auto-complete suggestions, or debugging tools
- Any external software or platform that could artificially support or supplement the candidate’s work
Authentic Interaction Required
Match Group expects all interview and assessment responses to be authentic and entirely the candidate’s own. Any use of AI for assistance or guidance is strictly prohibited to maintain a genuine exchange.
Confidentiality and Compliance
Use of AI tools that record, transcribe, or generate responses during the hiring process violates Match Group’s confidentiality standards and could risk exposure of proprietary information. To uphold the integrity and security of our hiring process, full compliance with these standards is mandatory. Non-compliance will result in discontinuation of the candidate’s application process for any positions within the company now and in the future.
